I just bought this pendant from Art ala Carte! Yaaay, awesome Etsy finds!
This is one of the reasons I love (and miss) Ted Kord so much. There were so many moments where his humanity was obvious. Ted didn’t have superpowers; he couldn’t fly, he didn’t have super strength or laser eyes. All he had were smarts and determination, a lot like Bats.
Yet unlike Bats, he could also laugh at himself (and others), and while he had his fair share of dramatic tragedies, he also struggled with the same problems as the everyday man— like weight.
I mean, when was the last time you saw a pudgy member of the Justice League?
